CUCET 2018 Eligibility

Candidates meet the eligibility criteria for UG courses if they need cleared 10+2 with the minimum prescribed percentage from a recognized board. Candidates are eligible for PG course admissions if they possess graduation certificate with the minimum prescribed percentage from a recognized university.

Selection Process

Candidate Will Be Selected On Base Of Written Test (Entrance Test).


Question Paper pattern: –

All Question Papers are Multiple choice Question based: –

(i) part A : English language, general awareness, mathematical ability and analytical skills – comprising of twenty five MCQs

(ii) part B: Domain data – comprising of seventy five MCQs. This part might comprises one/two/three or additional sections. every section will have twenty five or additional questions. A candidate is needed to answer a group of ‘X’ sections (75 questions) as such as on the front cover of the test Question booklet. However, he/she should make sure that he/she fills right circles within the OMR Sheet such as the question numbers attended.

(iii) For ex., part B of Entrance Test-Paper (eg. UGQP01) shall comprises four sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, arithmetic and Biology comprising twenty five queries every. A candidate shall be needed to try any 3 sections with combination of either PCM or PCB. while selecting the combination the candidate should make sure that he/she has appeared in individual subjects at 10+2 or Pre-board or equivalent qualifying examination.

(iv) If an Entrance Test-paper contents X range of sections and a candidate is needed to answer Y range of section however if a candidate try all ‘X’ sections then better of ‘X’ sections as per directions on the question booklet are considered for preparation of merit list.

(v) Admission to some Integrated Programmes/B.Voc./MBA/MCA/LLB or any other general Programme, just one paper comprising of one hundred MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/ numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills are held.

(vi) The candidate can need to select one correct answer and mark on OMR Sheet. but if a candidate Marks multiple entries within the OMR Sheet for specific question(s), it’ll be treated as wrong answer with negative marking.

(vii) every paper are only of 2 Hours duration.

(viii) there’ll be negative marking in CUCET-2018. every correct answer can carry 01 mark and for every wrong answer, 0.25 mark are subtracted. questions not tried won’t be assessed and hence won’t be considered for getting ready final merit list
